Ben Marginson is an interventional radiologist who has worked at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne since 2016, (having graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Melbourne in 2004 during which he trained at St Vincent’s Clinical School). He completed his training in Radiology in 2015 at Barwon Health.
Dr Marginson has completed fellowships in interventional radiology at Monash Health and St Vincent’s Hospital, and passed the European Board of Interventional Radiology exam in 2016. His procedural skills include the treatment of arterial and venous vascular diseases (both peripheral and central), vascular malformation, dialysis fistula dysfunction, embolization of haemorrhage and tumours, tumour ablation, hepatobiliary diseases, long term vascular access of central and peripheral veins, selective venous sampling for diagnosis of endocrine disorders, deep organ biopsy, and pain intervention.
His diagnostic radiology interests include vascular imaging, liver imaging, and general diagnostic radiology. Outside of work, Dr Marginson enjoys guitar and astronomy.
