Dr Cosmin Florescu completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2004. He trained as a Diagnostic Radiologist and subsequently subspecialised as an interventional radiologist at Monash Health and holds subspecialty qualifications in interventional radiology with the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR).

He is experienced in managing a diverse spectrum of medical conditions with minimally invasive, image guided techniques, including but not limited to management of peripheral vascular disease, varicose veins and embolization procedures including an interest in prostate, varicocele and fibroid embolization. Working in a busy public health network he has extensive experience in procedural medicine for a diverse range of acute medical conditions.
